Geektime, or in its previous name NewsGeek, is the leading technology news site in Israel. The site is targeted at an audience of technology and science fans, and has been operating since 2009. Geektime turned to us for a revolutionary facelift of their website and for re-branding it after they changed its name.
Work on the project included in-depth research of user behavior in the existing website, an audience of regular technological content consumers from Israel and abroad. The challenge in this project was to create a home for the Israeli geek and to build a solid base upon which an active community could thrive. Alongside supporting the community, we wanted to create high value for advertisers in the site and to create a wide range of advertisement options with different exposure levels.
